WHAT IS CBD?
CBD stands for Cannabidoil. This naturally occurring compound is derived from the industrial hemp plant, a strain of the Cannabis Sativa species. CBD is associated with medicinal and healing properties that may be used to regulate everyday stress, mood, recovery, and wellbeing.*
WHAT DOES FULL-SPECTRUM MEAN?
Full-spectrum means that an oil or product contains all cannabinoids that are found in the hemp plant in nature, rather than just CBD alone. Whole plant extracts like full-spectrum hemp oil are comprised mostly of CBD, as well as other important cannabinoids, phytonutrients, and active compounds. The synergies of these elements are essential to the potency and bioavailability of CBD products.*
IS THERE THC IN FULL-SPECTRUM HEMP OIL?
Industrial hemp is a strain of the Cannabis Sativa species that is characterized by extremely low levels of THC. Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is the psychotropic cannabinoid found in recreation and medicinal marijuana. Federal law currently defines industrial hemp as cannabis plants containing less than 0.3% THC by dry weight. Trace amounts of THC (<0,3%) are not nearly enough to have a psychoactive effect.*
WILL FULL-SPECTRUM HEMP OIL MAKE ME HIGH?
Although both THC and CBD are derived from the Cannabis Sativa plant, their differing molecular structures give each compound unique medicinal effects. This is why THC in marijuana will give you a high and CBD in hemp extract will not.*
ARE THERE SIDE EFFECTS TO TAKING FULL-SPECTRUM HEMP OIL?
Hemp extract is generally well tolerated and considered safe to consume. As with any other supplement, there is a chance that it could cause adverse reactions for some people. Always consult your physician before starting a new dietary supplement.*
